HP 9100i CD-R Problem

To Whoever Can Help,

Hey, I've recently had some serious problem with my HP CD Writer since I had to reformat and reinstall Windows 2000 on my computer.

Whenver I've tryed to burn a CD it'll respond with a message stating "SCSI Target Error". It doesnt seem to matter which burning software I use, I'll still get this Error Message and contiue burning coasters.

If anyone has any idea why this is happening please respond to this thread.

Thank You,
Chris Bain

First you should check if your hardware: SCSI Adapter and CD-Recorder are correctly installed. Check this in: Control Panel/System/Device Manager. Look for conflicts or SCSI ID.
Can you read from this CD-R Drive ?
