HP cd-writer 9500 does not write audio

System: Windows 98, hard drive has 1GB free space. Data writing works fine. But when I try to
create an audio CD (using .wav files on my hard
drive) I get a few tracks recorded (which play in
my usual audio CD player) and then an error
message like 'problem reading data fast enough'.The disks are SONY supposedly good to 12X. (technically: Response: -10 -Buffer Underrun - Command:E1 Sense: 03 ASC:0C ASCQ:08
HP CD-Writer +9500 (F:) ATAPI (1.02) PXDLL 1.0.0.175 PXMAS DLL 1.0.0.71 PXWAVE.DLL 1.2.0.66).

Are you using the HP MyCD software? If yes, try the new version from the following web page:

Good luck!
Make a great day!
