HP Laptop very slow DVD burning speed

Hi,
I have a HP pavillon dv8327us.with CD-ROM HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4084N and it became very slow burning a DVD. (more than 1 hour) Is there a way I can speed this up?
Where can I find the update drive for the CD-ROM HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4084N?
Any help you would be great.

This all depends on what software you have and how you are burning your image.

Try to create an iso to disk first. This will allow your to create copies of the image without going thru all of the software rendering your data. I have the same laptop you have, and I don't see a great difference in creating a DVD from my desktop system.
