HP optical drive
I have an HP Surestore optical 1300t. Just recently, the drive will not read my 1.3gb disks that I created on the drive. It reads 1.2gig disks fine, but when trying to access 1.3 disk, gives the error that the disk is not formatted, do you want to format now. The drive is hooked up to an older Toshiba laptop running Win 95. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: HP optical drive
Is it only one disk which can not be read or all the 1.3Gig disks can not be read by drive? If this is only one maybe it is failed? If yes, then how do you store disks? Do you remove disks from MO drive(s) after usage and do not leave them in the drive(s) for extended period?

Re: HP optical drive
Hi Eugeny,
Thanks for the response. No, I have tried multiple disks with the same result. They appear to be using the cases to store the disks. There also doesn't appear to be any neglect or marks to show that they abuse the drive or disks. Any other ideas?
Mike
