Loading HP 7510E on a bare HD
I have 2 questions about 2 problems that I currently have (actually there is a
third which I may mention later
1. Is there a way to load the HP7510E CDwriter on a computer that doesnt have
a CDrom in order to use the former for a vehicle to instal an Operating system?
2. Why does disater recovery freeze the keyboard on every machine at the A:\
prompt when I try to cold boot from floppy disks made in that program?
I have tried everything from editing the startup files to attempting to create
a special disk just to boot a machine with HP CDwriter support but have gotten
absolutely no where...I would have loved to check your knowledge base articles
for the answer which brings me to question 3. I tried to access the knowledge
base but kept getting an error message stating that my password was invalid and
I tried every password combo under the sun Im sure...Man this really is a
troublesome product I am using here--and with NO support available at
all!!!!!!! Does anyone care to help me with any of these problems?
Oh ya there was a fourth problem --I attempted to register my product on line
and it refused the serial # of my machine too!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELLLLLLLLLLLLP

Re: Loading HP 7510E on a bare HD
Can you provide 1. The URL that you were trying to register your CD writer at?
2. The serial number and date of purchase, I believe the
actual product number is C4413A.
3. The exact URL of the knowledge
data base sign-on you were trying to use.
Thanks.
