RecordNow RunTime Error
I have an external HP DVD 200e in a P4 2.4Ghz PC running windows XP Pro SP1.
The RecordNow software worked find however when I try to run the software I recieve the following Run Time Error
"run-time error '-2147023898 (800703e6)':
Automation Error
Invalid access to memory location.
I have replaced the RAM twice and completely uninstalled the software and drivers.
As far as I am aware the only change to the system has been upgrading XP Pro to Service Pack 1.
Any help would be appreciated.
Ian

Re: RecordNow RunTime Error
please do not touch hardware, it's purely software problem. Something got uninstalled/reinstalled during SP1 installation. Maybe this program uses some updated DLLs which handle its requests incorrectly.
I do not think we'll find this dependency not knowing where it exactly is. Would you mind to reinstall whole system with SP1 and then install DVD software from the scratch?
Did you try contacting software developers?

Re: RecordNow RunTime Error
Just do a search on your particular error code and download their patch.
