SureStore 80ex \ C1113J

When trying to use the 80ex every thing is fine but when a disk is sent to the drive it will not read it.

In the LTT it says that the cartridge status is unknown. looking at the Support ticket it shows some errors. I have attcahed a zipped copy of the support ticket.

I suggest you to check with a new cartridge, eventualy clean the one you are using.
If this do not solve, you may have dust on the drive lens, and it cannot calibrate the laser on reading mode.(Event #12: 0x06/0x07020161 (DSP: Focus on failed))
in that case, if the unit is under contract, it is time to replace the drive
