Backup Data into Tape

Hello Team, good day! We are using a tape to store backup data from our shared drive. After backup completion, we pulled out the tape and stored into secure off site location for monthly backup and it has 1TB size used out of 3.75TB (+2.5TB compression). Now, when we reuse the tape, insert into the same slot, to add 1TB size of data, the tape should have 2TB size of data being backup but when checking the graph of the tape, it shows only 1TB size where supposedly 2TB size of data since we run full backup.

Setttings: Protection is Permanent = so the last data being backup should not be overwritten but instead it doubles or more the size since we run full backup. 

Did i missed on the settings or configuration that need to set? Please help.
