Re: CPPM on DX Spectrum Monitoring

Hi there!

To retrieve the SNMP Community string and password via CLI for your CPPM (ClearPass Policy Manager) on VM, you can use the following commands:

  1.  Retrieve SNMP Community String:

(config)# show snmp community

This command will display the configured SNMP community strings.

  •  Retrieve SNMP Password:

(config)# show snmp user

This command will display the SNMP user configurations, including passwords.

For the MIB files required for standard monitoring (including disk space, reboot, interface thresholds), you can download them from the HPE website. Here are some relevant MIB files you might need: Click Here

  • cpqhlth

  • cpqida

  • cpqsinfo

  • cpqhost

You can find these files in the HPE System Insight Manager kit available on their support portal.
