Do I need to invest in 10GB LAN

Down here..... waaaaay Down here in the land down under (Australia) we are more than a little behind the 8-ball when it comes to broad band internet. I pay like....... 110 dollary-do's (AUD) per month for 250Mb/second download and 23Mb/sec upload. My Question is this..... Given the fact that we dont have Gb/sec broadband, is it really worth investing in 10GB or even 2.5GB/sec LAN??? I have a NAS, a smart TV and an XBOX X and a bunch of raspberry Pi's I fiddle around with on my network. I am looking at going for a full on Ubiquiti setup with 2x 4 way switches and an 8 way POE++ switch on my network. SO..... WADDAYARECKON?? Should I invest in 10GB LAN?
