Enabling/disabling Procurve switch ports using SNMP
I've been looking for a while and haven't found much related to enabling and disabling ports using SNMP. I did find a post saying that the following command can be used to enable an interface:
snmpset -v1 -c community hostname IF-MIB::ifAdminStatus.interface i 1
However, a followup comment inticated that ifAdminStatus is read only.
Is there a way to enble and disable ports using SNMP? The reason I'd like to is there are some ports on my switch that I'd like to disable and enable using Home Assistant, either on a schedule, manually, or both (Home Assistant, is, of course, outside the scope of this question here). If it is possible on Procurve switches, and I can get the commands to enable and disable the ports, I can then take that info and work on making it work in HA.
