How to view logging on HP5500HI

I am trying to determine if traffice (ping) from all VLANs to a set IP address (vif on a firewall) is being blocked by the ACLs or other on my core switches (5500HI)

I was trying dis log buffer reverse and acl logging frequence 20 but I can' t figure out how to see actual logging on the switch. the log buffer seens pretty limited, what am I doing wrong, am I in the wrong area?
