HP AF400A PDU Mgmt Module and HP SIM
I recently purchased 10qty new/in-box HP Dual Input PDUs from an IT surplus auction. Part number 373802-001. To manage those PDUs I picked up 5 AF400a PDU Managment Modules and have properally set them up for remote/netowrk access. My issue is that it doesn't seem that the PDU mgmt modules can "manage" the PDUs (turn banks on/off) in the web-based platform (yes, I have flash working in an old browser). Am I missing something or would I need to set up HP SIM as a trap receiver to turn the banks on/off?
Basically, just looking for confirmation that hat I would be able to manage the the power banks remotely with HP SIM connected to the PDU Mgmt Modules vice just aggregating SNMP sends form the PDU Mgmt Modules?
