HPE Office Connect 1920S Switch Unable to Access Web GUI
I bought this switch second hand and it works as a unmanaged switch but I can not configure it. I tried resetting it and I only connect a laptop to it with a configured static IP within the same subned as described online. I tried 169.254.235.56 (found from the last 4 bytes of the MAC address), while setting my static IP as 169.254.235.10 with mask 255.255.255.0. I also tried 192.168.1.1 from 192.168.1.10 static ip of computer. Is it possible the switch is bad in some way? Also when I plug it into my router it does not grab an IP from DHCP. (Scanned it with nmap) What else can I try? Is it possible the switch is bad? I am not an IT professional so any pointers is appreciated.
