Legacy HPE switch support
Recently I've received an old HPE ProCurve 2900-24G (J9049A) and after thorough search I managed to find software update version T.13.71 for it. Update went well, but I was wondering if there maybe is a newer version software for this switch. Official HP notice regarding this series states:
End of Service Life: September 30, 2014 (or 5 years after the respective End of Sale Date) -- The day all Service Obligations will end
Software I managed to track is dated 09/11/09 (T.13.71)
My biggest problem is web interface requires "Java Language" wich no longer is supported, since I believe 2015, so after EOL. CLI is an option, but I'm quite fresh to networking, and wanted to use this switch for testing and learning. I do have a Proxmox VE and can create a VM with Windows XP and try to get to GUI.
HPE and Aruba sites were unhelpful.
