Loop in network
Dear Team,
Please find the attached network diagram
SWITCHA =====40G====SWITCHB
| 10G | 10G--------> Port no 24 on both the switches
SWITCHE=====40G====SWITCHF
As per above one 10G ports link are Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/24 on each switches
and two 40G ports link are FortyGigE1/0/29 and FortyGigE1/0/30 on each switches
Dear Team,
We have HPE FlexFabric 5710 swicthes
As per above seup We have 2 old switches A and B which are above
We are require to connect 2 new switches E and F which are below via port 24
So we have added 10G connectivity on port no 24
and need to pass only vlan 22
Please find the below configuration as per below
interface Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/24
port link-mode bridge
description to dbnenswproda Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/24
port access vlan 22
#
interface FortyGigE1/0/29
port link-mode bridge
description to dbnenswprodf FortyGigE1/0/29
port link-type hybrid
port hybrid vlan 31 tagged
port hybrid vlan 1 22 untagged
port hybrid pvid vlan 22
l2protocol stp tunnel dot1q
l2protocol udld tunnel dot1q
#
interface FortyGigE1/0/30
port link-mode bridge
description to dbnenswprodf FortyGigE1/0/30
port link-type hybrid
undo port hybrid vlan 1
port hybrid vlan 31 untagged
port hybrid pvid vlan 31
#
We require the aforementioned setup, but how can we prevent a loop? we can enable stp but What configuration must be made on port 24 on both switches?
