MAC authentication、Storm-Control、QoS [Topic: Aruba CX6000 Switch – MAC Authentication, QoS
I would like to seek your assistance regarding a configuration migration issue.
I have an existing configuration from an AlaxalA switch, as shown below, and I am trying to convert it to an HPE CX6000 series switch.
However, I am encountering difficulties in mapping the configuration properly, especially for the storm-control, QoS, and MAC authentication parts.
Here is a sanitized version of the current configuration:
---
interface gigabitethernet 0/X
storm-control broadcast level pps XX0
storm-control multicast level pps XX0
storm-control action inactivate
storm-control action trap
storm-control action log
qos-queue-group "QUEUE"
mac-authentication port
qos-queue-list "QUEUE" 2pq+6wrr 1 1 1 6 9 12
ip qos-flow-list "VOIP-QOS"
XX qos udp XXX.XXX.XX.0 0.0.0.255 XXX.XXX.XX.0 0.0.0.255 action cos 7 replace-dscp cs7
XX qos udp XXX.XXX.XX.0 0.0.0.255 XXX.XXX.XX.0 0.0.0.255 action cos 7 replace-dscp cs7
XX qos ip any any action replace-dscp default
mac-authentication system-auth-control
mac-authentication max-timer 60
mac-authentication static-vlan roaming
mac-authentication timeout quiet-period 600
mac-authentication id-format 1
radius-server host XXX.XXX.XX.XXX key "XXXXXXX"
!
aaa authentication mac-authentication default group radius
---
Could you please advise:
- How should I properly convert the storm-control, QoS, MAC authentication, and RADIUS settings for HPE Aruba CX6000 switches?
- Are there any specific command equivalents or best practice recommendations?
- If possible, could you also share a sample configuration for HPE Aruba CX6000?
