"This serial number does not exist." Error when trying to register devices.

I've been trying to add all our network switches to thesupport.hpe.com site.  I have about 9 HP ProCurve networking switches that the site can't verify the serial number on and will not add to our device inventory.  The product numbers are wide-ranged, and some switches have the same product number of devices I was able to be registered.
