recovery

My P6710f has what looks like (3) drives. C: D:HP recovery E: local (has some sort of back up files marked with my pc"s name and asking if I want to restore from these files) If I do a full wipe clean and use my recovery disks do I use any of the D: or E: drives or just do a clean recovery from the disks. The disks were supplied from HP. Thanks for any help you can give this computer ludite all this tech stuff garbles my head.
