series 2000 allin one

why cant i simply put in dvd and have it install, this is my 2nd series 2000 computer and all i create for myself is frustation, the 1st had all sorts of problems for me, being new to computers i did not now was it me or the computer? well not all my fault something called a partition was not there, so under extended warranty a new series 2000 was supplied  and now after just 3 months of trial and error, back to square one it will not load all dvd games it will load some and not the rest, something wrong? INPUT ERROR BY OPERATOR,i dont know the dvds are the same brand  i would welcome any help, just simply put please help
