Trying to locate the device where device (ip) is connecting to
Hi all,
So my network looks like this : Core switch>>> Access Switch >> Unmanaged switch or Arupa Wireless
DHCP is configured on the core switch. There was ip subnet change done. I can still see a few devices trying to connect using the old IP range.
In show arp on core switch i see the IP addresses, but the mac shows as 00000-00000 Dynamic. There is no port mentioned.
Is there a way i can find out where this IP is coming from, I mean on which port and on which access switch this device is connected to ?
core switch is HP J9850A Switch 5406Rzl2
access switch is HP J9776A 2530-24G Switch
