VPLS interoperability between comware 5 and 7

Hello all

I have a setup using VPLS Kompella on HPE 5800 ( comware 5 ) trying to introduce the replacing device to operate in this setup 5520 HI using Comware7.
I can see that VPLS local setting are working - L2VPN bgp is connection the the VPLS familly from 5520 to 5800.
I cannot see any mac address / vpls conection taking place.
Is Kompella VPLS at all supported on 5520 Comware 7 ( from documentation it is ) How to interoperate between the 2 different models ?
