2 Switches fail to be discovered correctly by Procurve manager.

2 Switches fail to be discovered correctly by Procurve manager.

PCM 3.20.1741

 

 

We have a couple of switches ( and perhaps more ) that have been unreacahabel by PCM

 

Both are 5300's

 

One on ROM 15.29 -- SW 15.06.0017

One on ROM  15.19 -- SW 15.06.0008

 

When trying to re-discover them they fail with

 

Checking read access community name... Read community name failed, operation timed out

Checking write access community name... Write community name failed, operation timed out

Unable to communicate with device 128.129.x.y

 

snmpwalk also fails to the devices.

 

 

Our other 5400's are fine

 on

Rom 12.x

SW 14.x

 

Are the later ROM/SW versions supported on PCM 3?
