PCM doesn't communicating via SNMP with one the Device

Hi,

Please help me:

PCM server refuses communicating via SNMP with switch J9085(using as core). However with other switches in our network PCM has communication successful. PCM can determine the device in Automatically or manually, but  taking advantage of Packet sniffer,i have determined what PCM do not generate "get-request" to this Switch, also PCM do not wants to receive "Traps" from this Switch, however "SNMP Traps announce" of encapsuled BPDU succesfully reach the PCM. PCM server configured default and communities names coincides.

What settings on the PCM can affect on communicating between agent and device?

Hi

First of all, run Test Communication Parameters. That must pass.

- Check that no firewall is running between the PCM agent and the problematic device

- If Authorized managers are configured to the switch, PCM must be on the list

- Verify there are no other SNMP applications on the same server

- Run Wireshark on the PCM server. Verify that the traps and sFlow traffic from this switch is sent from the same IP address PCM uses to discover the switch.
