Problem with Accessing a 2810-24G in PCM4
I have this weird switch which I can open a telnet session to, but when I try to test the communications parameters in PCM for that switch it fails misarably. Any ideas? I've tripple checked the comm parameters, and since I can log in to the telnet session with the same parameters I can't understand why it fails.

Re: Problem with Accessing a 2810-24G in PCM4
Only time I have seen this is when you have a load of disconnected telnet sessions on your switch, and only 1 slot left (whch you may have ben using when PCM was testing for availability).
- Try "show telnet" - I think - to look for dead telnet sessions.
- The "kill" command will kill any telnet sessions (other than the one in use).
- Use "console inactivity-timer X" to set an auto-disconnect for unused sessions (usually requires a reboot).
Also worth looking for updated software on both the switch and PCM+.
BTW, are you testing telnet from the PCM server, or from another workstation?
