Problem with PCM 4.0 network MAP , devices dont link
Hi All!
Can someone explain why (Traffic, Link Status and VLAN) works on some devices but not other.... Using mainly 5406zl with the same firmware K.15.06.0008, the switches are identically configured but some doesn't "link" ....
Have been looking on LLDP on the separate switches...
The first one (PTPAS5) shows the links on the network map, but the second doesn't (PTPAS2)
PTPAS5# show lldp info remote-device
LLDP Remote Devices Information
LocalPort | ChassisId PortId PortDescr SysName
--------- + ------------------------- ------ --------- ----------------------
B23 | 44 1e a1 2a a7 00 53 C5 PTPCS1
PTPAS2(config)# show lldp info remote-device
LLDP Remote Devices Information
LocalPort | ChassisId PortId PortDescr SysName
--------- + ------------------------- ------ --------- ----------------------
B23 | 44 1e a1 2a a7 00 50 C2 PTPCS1
So please enlighten me what am I doing wrong? Right now it feels likes it's 50/50 that the switches link or not
Have a nice evening......
