Unknown V1 trap
Hi Guys,
I have started receiving the following events on my core switch. There are thousands of them:-
192.168.7.201 3 Wed Mar 21 08:33:22 GMT 2012 false 4 1
Unknown V1 trap: OID=.1.3.6.1.4.1.14525.5.0.19 with 4 varbind(s)
I would be grateful if anyone could enlighten me as to what it is and how to stop it. Thanking you all in advance
Regards

Re: Unknown V1 trap
Could you please tell us what version of PCM you are using, including what Auto Updates are installed, if any.
Thanks.

Re: Unknown V1 trap
Hi,
I am using V4 since last week, I know what the source addresses are. I have two Trapeze wireless controllers which are sitting on both the admin and guest network. They have an admin address of 128.1.1.229/230 and a 192.168.7.200/201 on the guest network. Still have no idea why I should be getting prompts for the guest side of the controllers. Any thoughts please
Regards

Re: Unknown V1 trap
You asked why PCM is getting traps from the guest side of the controller.
I don't have an answer for that.
But, it appears that the reason that the trap message is garbled in PCM's Event screen is that the controller is not a supported PCM device.
