Hidden Bootworks - Invalid System Disk on DL360 G3
Hello,
I have trouble with DL 360G3 Servers. I have installed the latest BIOS/Firmware.
I'm using RDP 1.4 withDS 5.6SP1, built 173
Boot from BW-Disk is doing fine. The same config installed as BW-hidden Partition (5MB) without any errormessages.
Result: Boot: Bios is starting to boot from c:, Message "Bootworks" comes up and then: "Invalid System Disk. Replace the disk and press any key". After pressing a key the Server normally boots the W2K german(production).
In the WP : HP ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack Support Matrix Release 1.40
DL360 G3 Hidden Bootworks is not supported
in an other forum they told me that the DL360 G3 is supported ??????
Has anyone a idea to fix this?
Regards
HPW

Re: Hidden Bootworks - Invalid System Disk on DL360 G3
Just a guess, but have you gone into F9 and disabled PXE for port 1? Sometimes the BW hidden parition and embedded PXE don't get along. Try disabling PXE on port 1 and give it another shot.

Re: Hidden Bootworks - Invalid System Disk on DL360 G3
Or possibly the Partition to boot from is no longer marked active?
FDisk run without any qualifiers gives a message if it can't find any active partitions.
