how to identify the ILO and NIC MAC address of each bl20p?
We want to collect MAC address of every blade’s 4 nics( 3nic plus 1ilo) through the C-GBE interconnect switch(Firmware version 2.1.0).
But we connect to the console of C-GBE, enter the menu:
Network Monitoring->Browse MAC Address
What we get is just the ilo MAC Address as follows:
Browse Address Table
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Browse By: VLAN ID:[1 ] Total Addresses in Table:9
MAC Address:[000000000000] BROWSE CLEAR ALL
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VID MAC Address Port Status VID MAC Address Port Status

Re: how to identify the ILO and NIC MAC address of each bl20p?
I don't *think* you can distinguish them this way. Some of my ILOs start in 00:11:0a, and none of my NICs do. But most of my ILOs and most of my NICs start in 00:11:85.
I think the only way to handle this is to let them register via DHCP, and see which name they register with. The ILOs register with the name from the tag. Then you can log on via https using "Administrator" and the password from the tag, and see the rest of the NICs' MAC on the "system status" page
