HP Insight Management Agents Failed Dependencies

I have a SBS2003 environment and trying to install Insight Management Agents. I'm getting the following message.

Installation for "HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2003/2008" requires one or more of the following that is not currently installed or in the install set:

- snmp
- cpqasm.sys
- cpqasm2.sys
- hpqilo2.sys
- hpqilo3core.sys
- hpqmgmt.sys

What am I required to install in order to install the management agents?

I have excactly the same problem on my server.
Its an DL360 G4p. Running 20008 R2 Enterprise.
The other R2 servers I have (blade servers) Dont have this problem.

Any ideas ?

I'm noticing the same thing on a BL 20p G3 I just reformatted from 2003 and install 2008 R2 on. Tried installing PSP 8.4 and same behavior.

You need to install the hp system management controller driver first.

Hello again!
The link you provided is the drivers for 2003.
I also tried to search for 2008 64bit drivers..still get a OS not supported...

I cant find a 2008 R2 driver...

any tips ?

I too am having the same issue on Server 2008 R2. The 2008 x64 System Management Controller drive does't work for me either.

I don't think there is one published for win2k8. I haven't tested Win2k8 but I would have thought it would need to be built off the SmartStart CD supplied with the server

I had the same problem with a DL365 and Windows server 2008 R2.
I downloaded the driver "HP ProLiant iLO Advanced and Enhanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions" but got the same "OS not supported" error as Takadori did. I then extracted the driver instead of using the Install option in the "HP Package Setup" tool, then ran the setup from the extracted files, it installed correctly.
I was then able to install the management agents after that.

I then choose to run the software in 2008 compatibility mode, Success..
