Hi,
We've recently tried a Physical to Physical migration from a HP Proliant DL360 G3 to a Proliant BL460c G1 using the HP Server Migration Pack.
The OS will load on the destination server, however, we can not use the virtual keyboard or mouse from the iLO for the BL460c G1.
Has anyone ever had issues like this after a migration?
I'm wondering if it is related to the source server having an older Proliant Support Pack (7.1)?
Thanks.

Solution
Yes. I have same problems. I try to resolve it like that:
1. Connect to source server usb mouse and usb keyboard. it will install drivers for mouse and keyboard on souce server.
2. Migrate source server to destination server.
3. Boot from ERD commader 2007.
4. Set drivers "mouse hid" and "keyboard hid" to boot or system type.
5. Reboot destination server.
I do not know resolve it problem or not. I will try it tommorow.

Re: HP Server Migration Pack - iLO issue with no mouse/keyboard
I tried that solution on source bl680 and destination to bl460. Solution with ERD works. In fact, that is HP SMP problem. I think about devcon.exe command with parametr to run pnp wizard at background. Run it before user logon. But I do not try it.
