Image multiple Partitions with Altiris through Deployment Server Console

I have created my baseline servers to have a 16Gb partition and a partion of around 50Gb. When I create a new image job the image only contains information from the 16Gb partiton.

I cannot seem to find an option to grab the second partition during the image pull. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this task?

Are you using the HP Rapiddeploy software or something else?

Re: Image multiple Partitions with Altiris through Deployment Server Console

Greg,
When you create an image capture job thru the console and you don't specify any additional command line parameters, then the rdeploy DOS program will default to:
-rdeploy.exe -mu -d1 -p1 (something like that)

In other words...first drive, first partition.

If you want to capture the second partition, then create another image job under the console, but at the bottom you will see a field for additional command line parameters. Add the -p2 switch. -d1 is assumed if no drive is specified.
Good luck,

Thanks Ed. I'll give that a shot. Is there any way to have both partitions in the same image? Something like -p* for instance?

You must set a new task for each drive that you want to image. Each of the drive image tasks can be configured to capture any or all of the partitions on that drive.
