Install RDP 3.5 failed with the "HP proliant Integration Module Setup"

Hi,

do Anyone have the same issue ?

When I try the installation of RDP scripts : I receive the error (.NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting):
Faulting application setup.exe, version 3.0.2533.29333, stamp 4579e48b, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.0.2195.7099, stamp 4498ec9e, debug? 0, fault address 0x0002bc81.

It's very strange because the installer fails at the beginning (before to check prerequisites)!

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Re: Install RDP 3.5 failed with the "HP proliant Integration Module Setup"

I had the same issue when I tried to run the files from a network share. I copied the files locally on the server and it worked.

Also the download didnt complete the first time so I had a bad .ISO file.

The third error I had was this:

Import Jobs: aximport.exe Write Windows Image {WinPE}.bin
ERROR: HP ProLiant Integration Module 3.50 failed to install. [5]

A workaround for me was to delete the four script files on the source folder so the installation would ignore the files. Luckily I dont use imaging, only scripting so it was all right for me.

Copy the complete contents to the RDP server's local drive and install.

or

1. Run the .NET Configuration applet
2. Select the My Computer\Runtime Security Policy\Machine\Code\Groups\All_Code\LocalIntranet_Zone node
3. Right-click and click on New
4. In the wizard steps, use the following values:
Name = PickAName
Condition = URL
URL = file://S:/* (where s: is your mapped drive letter)
