Intel 82801GR Sata Controller
Greetings
I am having trouble finding where to configure the hardware Raid array.
usually this can be done by running the ACU on the smart start disc however when I run this it does not detect any controller at all.
I have two 80G drives which I am trying to mirror.I do see the controller and two drives during POST.
I tried the ROM based utility as well without any luck.
Suggestions would be great.

Re: Intel 82801GR Sata Controller
Good question !
Yes I'm using the most current version of SS.
This is a brand new server.
Ill give tech support a call unless anyone else has come across this issue.
Thanks

Re: Intel 82801GR Sata Controller
The SmartStart CD works only with SmartArray controllers (which the Intel 82801GR is not) no version of SmartStart will work with this device, to configure the arrays on this controller you have to use the ROM based utility which can be accessed during POST by hitting F8
