Intelligent Provisioning and partitioning issue
Why does HP dissalow custom partitions to a reasonable size?
In intelligent provisioning, the slider bar goes on my 600GB drive from 570GB max to 300GB minimum?
When i rang up HP about it a while ago, they mentioned that you cant partition lower than the memory you have in your server (for caching/server crash purposes)......i find this rediculous if this is the case. Pre Gen8 this was never the case?
P.S. This thread has been moved from ITRC Remote Lights-Out Mgmt (iLO 2, iLO, RILOE II) Forum to ITRC ProLiant Deployment & Provisioning Forum.

Re: Intelligent Provisioning and partitioning issue
I would have thought this is a pretty big issue?
Has no one else experienced this?

Re: Intelligent Provisioning and partitioning issue
If that's true, it's a crazy decision! It should eb up to the admin to just the crash dump settings when the OS is built!
