RDP 3.1 & ESX 2.5.3(4)
I have run a clean install of RDP 3.1 on sql 2000 + SP4 on a Windows 2003 Standard server (without SP1 to prevent password issues etc)
As OS I have selected: ESX 2.5.3 but copied the 2.5.4 software, ESX 3.01 and almost all windows versions including x64.
When I run a default esx 2.5.3 job it crashes on several reasons: cannot read /mount/moun-info [happens when it uses DHCP instead of a custom general.cfg with a static ip] but most of the times when it does run it cannot copy the image file (cannot connect to the ftp server which is actually working fine, also setup by default during the RDP setup)
So what the hell goes wrong, and don't even menion the enrollment of esx 3.01 with RDP 3.1 because most errors are the same.
My destination servers are DL360's G1 (rdp jobs for windows x86 works fine)
Did HP actually test the enrollment of the ESX part?
Are there any things that need to be changed after a default RDP 3.1 setup?
