RDP 3.10 BL20p G4 & Windows Disks order
Hi,
I just started a Windows 2003 STD config with RDP 3.10 for a BL20p G4 blade server (Insight Agents v7.70).
Everything worked fine but I just found something "strange".
First at all I manually configured by BIOS parameters & used Smartstart v7.70 to
configure 2 logical drives (Logical Drive 1 8GB, remaining size for logical drive 2),
Then used the RDP scripts capture for BIOS & ARRAY (see below for array INI file).
Then I "erased" the blade and ran a job with the captured settings.
Job was ok.
In the Windows Disk Management I see my 2 disks, but in the reverse order than before (Blade G2 & G3) !
DISK 0 60GB
DISK 1 8GB (Boot disk)
Functionnally speaking, everything is working but is this behavior normal (due to the HW)?
Thanks,
Michele

Re: RDP 3.10 BL20p G4 & Windows Disks order
Hi,
Forget it...
After W2k3 SP1 & Hotfixes Disks are in
the "normal" order.
Don't known what update fixed that.
