Rdp 3.70 / Altiris Ds scripted install fails
Hi all!
I would like some quick help for my problem here. I am new to DS/rdp, and I really cannot get anywhere with it right now...
Here's what i've accomplished so far:
Installed rdp, added correct network driver through pxe-config.
Configured pxe, and are able to boot a client server into automation ( server shows in the ds-console ).
I am able to run some basic tasks, like "Read Hardware Configuration [server-spesific]{Winpe}"
This task for example, produces the correct files under .\lib\hwconfig
Winpe mounts ds-express-share correctly, and I'm able to run some tools from it.
My problem is: I cannot get any job to do anything, because of the "the disk read operation failed" -error.
I have read numerous articles now from forums, but nothing seems to help.
I tried:
https://kb.altiris.com/display...t=&catURL=&r=0.9436457
https://kb.altiris.com/display...le.asp?aid=19067&link=
I figured that winpe is missing the mass-storage-driver to get to the array, so I have been trying to add that, but either I do it wrong, or something is not working.
I will add some logs I gathered, maybe you can figure it out, pls?
Btw, I need to get scripted install to work for both a local disk-configuration, as well as a san-disk configuration. I am using qlogic-hbas to accomplish this. The qlogic hba's are of course disabled while I try to run the local disk job, and the local array enabled.
I have also read the manuals, but nothing seems to tell "STEP-BY-STEP" on what to do to get scripted install to work???
Please reply asap.
