RDP 3.8 WinPE issue
I installed 3.80 yesterday. Servers can't even register the fist time using winpe. When the "(131) WinPE Managed" menu item is selected, the boot.wim begins to load, ("Windows is loading files..." and the white bar procedes along the bottom of the screen from left to right) then the screen goes blank.
If I select (130) Linux Managed every thing works and the system shows up in the deployment console as a new computer, just as it should.
Any Ideas on how to make WinPE function? (I know, I know, Linux rules but my boss loves Windows)
I have regenerated the boot images and am thinking about using and older boot.wim (2005)

Re: RDP 3.8 WinPE issue
The server I am using as my target is a DL360 G3. I just tried a DL380 G2 and WinPE works perfectly. Are the default WIMs hardware sensitive?

Re: RDP 3.8 WinPE issue
Your WinPE image might be corrupt. I had a corrupt WinPE boot image cause STOP errors during the progress bar (driver load). You can regenerate the WinPE boot image from Deployment Console->Configure PXE. In the bottom right-hand corner, you see Regenerate Boot Images. Select WinPE and hit the Regenerate button. This will recreate the image from the WinPE source.
