RDP - Blade Altiris Console Physical View

I have a Problem with the Altiris Deployment Console.
If i activate physical view in the console and turn on the blade enclosure, there a no automaticly entry's in the physical view.

when i test it in our testcenter with DS-Vers 5.6 and RDP 1.3 it works. But now in the live-net with DS 6.0 and RDP 1.5 it don't works.

in the Live-net the iLo-Board an Normal-Net of the Blades are in 2 Subnets. But i try in also in 1 subnet, same result. The iLo-Boards are configured with static IP and DHCP, same result.

Maybe in the live-net the network-management-group filtering any Protocols or Ports, but i don't know about what mechanism, the Deployment Server knows the Blade-Servers and his Enclosure.

Can anybody help me ???

Re: RDP - Blade Altiris Console Physical View

The blades (or any computer for that matter) appear in the console because of the DOS, Windows or Linux agent communicating with the DS. In order for that to happen, the computers need to boot to either:
1. boot to PXE and run the BootWorks DOS agent and connect to the DS
2. have the AClient loaded in Windows and connect to the DS
or
3. have the Linux adlagent loaded and connected to the DS.

Re: RDP - Blade Altiris Console Physical View

thanks Robert for your reply, but my question is, how can i deploy a new blade without knowing his MAC.

i have fix it.
it was a problem between the Blade (Rack/Enclosure/Bay) Configuration and the express SQL-Database.
I reinstall the SQL-Database, and now it works. I generate a virtual bay an define a initial Job and when the Blade turn on, the initial Job run.
