Hey guys, I need a little clarity on RDP imaging and backing up etc.
After initial deployment of an OS onto one of the blades, you can save the image by dragging the blade onto the Server Replication Jobs "Read system and array and configuration and windows image" job and then to deploy that image, use the write option job instead.
However, if I have 2 different kind of blades in an enclosure and I want to store these images, to prevent the job from being overwritten, just copy and rename the pair?
I tried it but it didnt work...
Thanks for the help

Solution
Johnathan:
There is a little more configuration you need to do. After you copy the jobs, and I always suggest you create a "working folder" where you keep all your custom jobs, you need to go in and change the file settings in each task.
By default, the settings will save the info to the same location(s).
In the "Create Disk Image" task, change the location of the iage file to something other than capwin.img
In the Read jobs...
In the "Capture System Configuration" task, change the capwin.ini file name to something more meaning full. Same with the "Capture Array Configuration" task.
In the write jobs, make sure you set the tasks to the names and files you set in the read tasks.
