RDP Migration
We are planning to migrated the RDP Server. We will be using 2.2 production agents then, we are currently using 2.1. We are going from older hardware to much newer hardware.
The server will have the same IP as the older server.
After the migration how do we get the agents to report back in to the RDP Server?
Is the a migration plan that HP has for an RDP Migration?

Re: RDP Migration
The agents can be configured to contact the server in two ways, by IP Address or Multicast. Because the new server will have the same address, no changes are needed.
If you were moving to a new IP Address, you could reconfigure all the agents before decommisioning the old server. Here are the steps.
Right click "all computers"
Select "Change agent setting",
"Windows/Linux Agent"
Go to "Transport" tab
Select "Use TCP/IP..."
Enter the new IP Address.
