RDP Scripts & EMC SAN Connectivity Support
I am trying to use the RDP capture/OS Install scripts which come with RDP on to BL20-p Blades which boot to an EMC SAN Storage device (using the QLogic dual-fibre channel cards HP supplies). I cannot find any information on how to go about accomplishing this. If anyone has any ideas, i would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Re: RDP Scripts & EMC SAN Connectivity Support
Hiya
You need the following document:
5982-3248en_rev1_us.pdf
HP ProLiant BL p-Class server blades Booting Windows systems from 3rd party Storage Array Network (SAN).
We use Emulex cards and have had to update the texmode,drivers\scsi and txtetup.oem with the relevant drivers. Also your unattend.txt needs to reference the new drivers:
w2k:
[MassStorageDrivers]
"Emulex LightPulse - Fabric - Automap SCSI Devices"=OEM
[OEMBootFiles]
elxsli2.sys
Hope this helps
Simon

Re: RDP Scripts & EMC SAN Connectivity Support
Hi Jaq,
Have you got booting from EMC with RDP installing W2K/W3K (Initial Dep). This is amazing, I found docs for Linux but not for windows. Coul you please guide me how to change RDP scripts? ;-)
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
