Does anyone have any information on customising the hardware script files e.g server.hwr - .ary - .prt

you should download the SSSTK 2.4:

ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp25501-26000/sp25772.exe

This SoftPaq is containing the SmartStart Scripting Tools, sample scripts for all supported operating systems and following documents:

- HP SmartStart Scripting Toolkit DOS Edition User Guide (SSSTKBP.PDF)

- HP SmartStart Scripting Toolkit DOS Edition Best Practices (SSSTKUG.PDF)
