Windows 2003 SP1 RC2
After applying SP1 RC2 for Windows 2003 on Proliant BL20p G2, the Altiris Client prompts with the message "Unable Map Physical Memory" upon bootup, thereby making the server unmanageable from the RDP Console. Any folks encountered this problem?
I'm using Altiris Client 6.0.73
RDP Version 6.0 Build 73
Altiris Express Deployment Server 6.1
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jorge

Re: Windows 2003 SP1 RC2
Hey Guys,
You will need to upgrade to the latest version of RDP. I think its version 2. Go here. http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/rdp.html and choose your os type. Then go to the download section on the right. agree to the agreement. and choose Release 2.0 .
YOu will need to install hotfix E before upgrading which is on the ISO cd that you will download.
Once all that is done you will need to deploy the new client to your server that is having the problem.
In the RDP go to tools and Remote Agent Installer. Follow the prompts to push it to your client. I am not sure if it will reboot your server or not.
I hope this gets the ball rolling.

Re: Windows 2003 SP1 RC2
Hi, Jorge,
I├В┬┤m also Jorge and have almost the same situation as you.
The difference is that I install Windows 2003 Server SP1, un a BL10
Could you resolve your issue?
Thanks in advance.
Jor
