WINPE AND DISKPART "No fixed disk error"
hi I have created a winpe disk with the latest drivers form HP.
I have tried diskpart scripts on a ML310 with a 641 raid card and all works well.
However when i try it in a ML370 G4 with a 641 and a 6402 diskpart gives the error "No fixed discs"
I created 2 logical drives by the way on the raid card...
2x 72 mirror raid 1+0 and raid 5 for the rest
anyone had this problem?
has anyone done a script for a ML370 ? I am trying to set up deployment using a cd rom for winpe then call the right script ie deploy.cmd
so more questions to come

Re: WINPE AND DISKPART "No fixed disk error"
please ensure that your default boot controller is 641 or 6402. These are add-on cards and generally set to lower order in default boot controller order.
Go to RBSU and check the boot controller order.
Hope this helps,
Gopi

Re: WINPE AND DISKPART "No fixed disk error"
Ahh got it working! I was a biff and did not add the winpeoem.sif lines in for the driver locations!
oh yeah by the way when you do a paste and copy of the winpeoem.sif the hpcisss2 entry is in uppercase and will halt on the install of the winpe process
