WinPE Z: Ramdisk not created if no logical disk

Hi,

Using WinPE from the RDP 3.5/DS 6.8 environment I notice that if there is no logical disk created on the array controller, that the Z: RAMDRIVE is not created. This causes some trouble as I've customized the PE image a bit and rely on having the Z: to write temp info to.

Any ideas? I've search Microsoft, Altiris and HP and not found much.
