1611 Power Supply 1 Fan Failure Detected
Hi
We rebooted one of our DL-360 G1 servers today to find an error message about the fan. The error message is "1611 Power Supply 1 Fan Failure Detected".
Has anybody else seen that error message before?
Basically we want to know which is the correct replacement part we need to make our server live again.

Re: 1611 Power Supply 1 Fan Failure Detected
Hi,
Use Spares Kit 173828-001 to replace only those ProLiant DL360 power supplies. Do not replace the system fan, because it is not affected by this problem.
Regards,
Prashant S.

Re: 1611 Power Supply 1 Fan Failure Detected
In my case, 2 of the 3 fans were spinning on the power supply. I used a can of air to blow out dust, spin the fan backwards and give it a jump start. The third fan started spinning normally and it now boots up with no error, but I may order a spare power supply.
Fixed for $3 can of air. Hopefully it's not just a band aid.
