1794 error message

I have a DL380 G4 server, running Netware, which gives a "1794 Array accelerator batteries failed to charge" on startup.

I see lots of post on this subject, but none by anyone as ignorant as me.

I don't know how to diagnose this. I don't know how to find out whether the battery is actually bad.

I don't dare take the server offline until I know what is going on.

Is there a diagnostic tool that I can run to help me with this? I don't find anything in the knowledgebase, and unfortunately, the server is out of warranty.

Action: Replace the array accelerator board if the batteries do not recharge within 36 powered-on hours.
