1st Time-- Need HELP!!!

OK. This is the first time I've tried to install a Compaq server. It is an old Proliant 2500R. When I got it, it had Win 2000 Server on it, presumably running fine. I was able to run the erase utility, but now I can't do anything. When it boots up, it initializes the CPU's fine. Then, when it gets to the Smart-2DH Array controller, I get the message: 1785- Slot 6 drive array not configured. Run Compaq Array Config Utility. When it gets towards the end of the POST, it says: Run System Configuration Utility. Press F1 to continue or F10 for system partition utilities. No matter which button I press, it then goes to the NIC PXE, and eventually reboots. It will just keep doing this over and over and over. The SmartStart CD has been in the drive the whole time. I'm just wondering, is there a way to go into BIOS and change the boot order. Sorry for the long post, and thanks for any help.

Please remove any PCI cards except for the 2DH. Sounds like it's picking up an Intel Nic. Then run the erase utility and start again.
We are here for a good time, not a long time!

Hi, to get to the bios you can boot up with the smart start cd and select the system configuration utility and that will give you the option to check for the boot order. Did you configure your array as well? If you select the assisted path after running the erase utility? The automated smart start install.
